San Diego photographer / I.A.T.S.E cinematographer and S.D.S.U Professor David Max Steinberg prides himself on offering extraordinary event photography and videography services. He recently covered the wedding of Warner Brothers “Smallville” star Tom Welling,  and he has filmed or photographed celebrities including Hillary & Bill Clinton, Donald Fagen, Lee Ritenour, Abe Vigoda, Thelonious Monk, Earl “Fatha” Hines, jazz altoist Charles McPherson, Dr. Robert Reich, “Kiss” Singer Paul Stanley,  singer/songwriter James Taylor, TV producer Larry David, Kathleen Kennedy, Art Buchwald, Walter Cronkite and many, many others. David Max (David Max Steinberg) is an adjunct  faculty member at SDSU, where he teaches filmmaking, cinematography & lighting.

He welcomes location and fashion portraiture assignments, event photography of all kinds (including weddings and corporate functions), and he operates La Jolla’s only studio offering multi-format still photography and digital video production under one roof.
